and extend an invitation to join the Westchester Aircraft Maintenance Association (WAMA).

The Association's Calendar of Events consists of monthly meetings conducted every second
Thursday of the month with the exception of July and August. The meetings are co-sponsored
by leading manufacturers and suppliers of aircraft products and services. Presentations
cover a wide spectrum of aviation related topics with an emphasis on the field of maintenance.
In the month of June, the Association holds an annual Outing at a club in the Westchester
area chosen by the assigned committee. Golf, Volleyball and Tennis are just a few of
the activities to be enjoyed at the outing which is concluded by a barbecue and a presentation
of awards to the winners of various organized contests.
In the fall, the Association holds the Annual Fall Dinner Dance. A great time to be
had by all, with live music, dancing, and Door Prizes. A special raffle for cash and
other valuable prizes is also held with proceeds applied to subsidizing the event.
In addition, special training courses and technical seminars directly related to the
aviation industry are given throughout the year. The event dates, topics, and location
are published in the monthly newsletter. Special mailings with details and sign-up sheets
are also sent to the membership making them aware of the courses and seminars being held.
