RVSM*
MAY 20 - 21, 2008 (Tuesday - Wednesday)
This two day course refers to applicable FAR 91.411
/91.413 and RVSM to qualify your maintenance personnel,
avionics and A&P Technicians on the requirements
for testing RVSM modified aircraft.
The program is presented 50% in classroom and 50% on
supplied aircraft at Meridian Jet Center.

*RVSM: Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum
An aircraft operator must obtain RVSM approval for each
aircraft.
1. Increased altimeter accuracy.
2. Increased test equipment accuracy.
3. ADS configuration.
4. ADC part number.
5. Skin waviness in critical areas, Pitot / Static ports.
With this approval an aircraft can fly at a closer vertical
separation.
Maintenance personnel must be trained and updated in
order to keep RVSM aircraft current.
